What you will do

• Lead and direct personnel to ensure safe facility operations in accordance with laws, policies, and approved procedures.
• Promote a positive EH&S culture and ensure full compliance with permits and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the site maintenance program and spare parts inventory to maximize equipment reliability and minimize costs.
• Manage annual budgets and capital projects, forecasting financials to maximize facility profitability.
• Collaborate with the sales team to broker waste disposal, identify market opportunities, and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee the transportation department, including routing, asset management, and driver utilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 10 years of related experience in the waste industry.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local waste industry regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of professional accounting, financial, and tax concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
