Salary: $134,000 — $220,000 USD

What you will do

• Define and document network requirements and architecture in collaboration with business partners and external vendors.
• Analyze network performance to identify inefficiencies and enhance resiliency for future designs.
• Develop and document network standards in partnership with Network Engineers.
• Lead mission-critical network design efforts and develop network automation solutions.
• Participate in the Infrastructure Technical Review Board.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/CS or 10+ years of enterprise network design and architecture experience.
• 7+ years of experience with compute, storage, data centers, and automation platforms.
• 3+ years of experience designing connectivity for public cloud service providers.
• Expertise in Precision Time Protocol (PTP), BGP, and EIGRP protocols.
• Experience with Cisco Spaces and high-capacity WiFi deployments for large spaces.
• Must be based in New York City, NY; ability to travel frequently and work non-traditional hours is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolarWinds, Cisco ThousandEyes, and PTP Trackhound.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst Center and Nexus Dashboard.
• Ability to document network designs using Visio, Lucid Chart, or similar tools.
