VMware Virtualization Administrator (VMware/vSphere): Administering and optimizing VMware vSphere platforms, virtual machines, storage, and networking for enterprise production environments with an accent on availability, performance, lifecycle management, and service continuity. Focus on maintaining HA, DRS, and vMotion capabilities, troubleshooting SLA-bound incidents, and executing patching, upgrades, hardening, backup integrations, and automation.

What you will do
- Administer VMware vSphere platforms, including ESXi hosts and vCenter, in enterprise production environments.
- Manage virtual machine creation, configuration, maintenance, and integration with compute, storage, and networking resources.
- Administer HA, DRS, and vMotion to maintain platform availability and service continuity.
- Monitor performance, perform capacity planning, and troubleshoot production incidents within defined SLAs.
- Execute patching, upgrades, platform hardening, backup integrations, and basic automation.
- Collaborate with operating system, storage, network, and cloud teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience administering VMware vSphere environments with ESXi and vCenter.
- Experience managing virtual machine lifecycles, compute, storage, and virtual networking.
- Solid knowledge of HA, DRS, and vMotion, plus experience with performance monitoring, capacity planning, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with patching, upgrades, platform hardening, and backup integrations.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
- Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with PowerCLI and/or Ansible automation and scripting.
- Exposure to enterprise backup solutions integrated with virtualization platforms.
- Experience working with operating system, storage, network, and cloud teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA-driven operational practices.
