Base Salary: $175,000 - $201,000

What you will do

• Implement and own core data connectivity patterns between hospital PACS/VNAs, 3rd party apps, and AI endpoints.
• Develop robust ingest and write-back paths using DICOMweb and edge connector patterns.
• Participate in the full SDLC, from requirements analysis to release and maintenance.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and drive bug triage and resolution.
• Design and document technical solutions via flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code.
• Integrate logging, metrics, and tracing tools to ensure platform observability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience integrating medical imaging systems in clinical production.
• Strong expertise in integrating PACS/DICOM systems with cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Expert-level knowledge of DICOM protocols (C-STORE, C-FIND, C-MOVE).
• Experience deploying on-prem "edge" components and managing outbound-only connectivity.
• Ability to design reliable ingestion paths with retries, queueing, and replay mechanisms.
• Proven experience in secure handling of PHI (encryption, minimization, and retention).

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Java and the Spring framework.
• Knowledge of IHE profiles and enterprise imaging integrations.
• Familiarity with DICOM-SR/SEG/PR and validation tooling.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/HITRUST security requirements.
