Location: Remote (US). Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Travel within the US required up to 2 times per year.
Salary: $50,000–$55,000 per year

What you will do
- Acquire and interpret insurance benefit coverage via phone or online portals to determine client costs.
- Assess business viability by evaluating expected reimbursement and payer requirements prior to device trials.
- Identify funding options and resolve coordination of benefits (COB) issues proactively.
- Communicate funding details through the CRM and maintain accurate, complete documentation of all inquiries.
- Ensure patient records are maintained according to HIPAA and Medicare guidelines.
- Track and trend issues to aid the team in resolution and prevent repeat problems.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- 3 years of healthcare or insurance-related experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong data entry, organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication with a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Compassion for individuals with disabilities and comfort communicating with clients with speech impairments.
Nice to have
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of customer service and/or administrative experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, TrueSight, Inovalon, or HubSpot.
