What you will do

• Lead the design and deployment of high-impact enterprise API integrations and data migrations from design to production.
• Build robust serverless backend applications using Python, Flask, and AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway).
• Architect scalable systems capable of handling high-volume transactions while ensuring security and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and clients to refine technical requirements and enhance product functionality.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews and technical leadership.
• Represent technical products to stakeholders and drive timely project execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React).
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including CTEs, windowing functions, and indexing techniques.
• Proven experience delivering cloud applications using AWS and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Previous experience within a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) environment.
• Prior experience as a technical lead or in technical product management.
