Linux Systems Administrator

What you will do

• Administer Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE Linux systems in production environments.
• Install, configure, harden, patch, and maintain Linux servers.
• Monitor systems, analyze logs, and resolve incidents within established SLAs.
• Perform basic automation to support availability and capacity management.
• Document procedures and collaborate with database, middleware, cloud, and storage teams.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience supporting Linux systems in operational or production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting system, service, and performance issues.
• Basic administration of systemd, cron, SSH, NFS, Samba, and Apache.
• Intermediate English proficiency required for technical communication and documentation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of sudo, ACLs, and SELinux.
• Basic Bash scripting and experience with monitoring tools.
• RHCSA or a higher-level certification.
• Experience documenting procedures and working with cross-functional teams.
