Sr Finance Manager - TPA

Sr Finance Manager - TPA: Serve as financial partner to TPA leaders by owning planning, reporting, and analysis for all TPA expenses with an accent on headcount and vendor spend forecasting. Focus on conducting cost-benefit analyses, leading budget reviews, and driving annual operating plans to enable strategic decision-making within financial targets.

Location: Tempe, AZ - all candidates must be able to commute into this location weekly

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000, depending on location, skills, and experience

What you will do

• Analyze and forecast headcount including bonus, benefits, taxes, and capitalization for accurate personnel expense planning.
• Manage vendor spend forecasting to track non-personnel expenses and identify optimization opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders on expense budgets, ad hoc requests, and financial guidance for decision-making.
• Lead monthly expense analysis, month-end activities, and ensure proper accruals.
• Prepare OpEx reporting, set up and lead monthly review meetings for expense accountability.
• Drive quarterly forecasts, Annual Operating Plan, cost-benefit analyses, project accounting, and system improvements in Anaplan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5-10 years experience in financial planning and analysis role
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI
• Experience with financial planning systems (Anaplan and NetSuite preferred)
• Excellent analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights
• Clear communication skills for presenting to non-finance audiences and influencing decisions
