What you will do

• Develop installation procedures for disassembly, refurbishment, and reassembly of turbine and generator components.
• Create quality requirements, site inspection plans, and engineering data record sheets.
• Support the alignment and assembly of critical components on-site.
• Resolve project-related installation issues and review technical documentation and contractual specifications.
• Interface with clients regarding installation matters and support Sales and Project Management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design of heavy industrial components.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX).
• Working knowledge of capital equipment, welding, custom fabrication, and piping.
• Experience designing large rotating equipment.
• Must be located in or able to work from Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• P.E. license.
