What you will do

• Set the organizational quality architecture direction, including the design of quality gates and reliability targets.
• Design and deliver scalable test automation frameworks and a consistent governance model across engineering teams.
• Integrate AI into quality engineering, rolling out AI-driven test generation, intelligent selection, and defect prediction.
• Own the performance and resilience strategy, defining monitoring standards and disaster recovery frameworks.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to balance release velocity with system health.
• Mentor engineers, shape hiring standards for a quality mindset, and contribute to overall engineering maturity.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in software quality engineering, test architecture, or technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipeline design, and testing strategies for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to quality workflows (e.g., AI-driven test generation or automated defect detection).
• Track record of driving the adoption of technical standards across multiple product areas.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with contract testing, chaos engineering, or advanced reliability practices (SLOs/SLIs).
• Exposure to security testing practices, compliance frameworks, or regulated industry standards.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or PagerDuty at an architectural level.
• Track record of representing an organization as a thought leader through talks or published writing.
