Senior AI Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Establish quality engineering practices across multiple product teams and define pragmatic test pyramids.
• Build AI agents and tooling for exploratory testing, test authoring, failure triage, coverage analysis, and fix proposals.
• Develop reliable API, contract, and end-to-end automation with maintainable environments and test data fixtures.
• Improve test stability, parallelization, runtime, artifact management, and time to diagnosis through CI/CD tooling.
• Define performance benchmarks, establish SLOs, and connect test coverage and production incidents to customer impact.
• Partner with product, engineering, and design to apply shift-left quality practices and investigate high-risk releases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or test automation.
• Strong hands-on coding experience with test code, frameworks, CI pipelines, and helper scripts.
• Experience with API and contract testing, test data and environment strategy, and stable automated suites.
• Experience setting up SLOs and driving measurable reliability improvements.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for test authoring, failure triage, or coverage analysis, with sound judgment about when human review is required.
• Experience improving CI/CD test reliability with GitHub Actions or similar, plus strong cross-functional communication and coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Incident management and root-cause analysis experience.
• Experience with PHP, Kotlin, or TypeScript.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
