Location: Must be based in Canada. Candidates local to Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto are expected to be in the office minimum twice per week.

Salary: $116,500 – $157,500 CAD

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure for production environments.
• Implement and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for reproducibility and compliance.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize CI/CD pipelines and the overall developer experience.
• Enhance observability by refining alerting, monitoring, and incident response.
• Partner with Security and MLOps teams to deliver resilient and compliant systems.
• Mentor team members and define agentic patterns for cloud infrastructure deployment.

Requirements

• Experience deploying AWS managed services (RDS, EKS, Lambda) at scale.
• Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Strong coding foundation for building robust automation frameworks and tooling.
• Experience with container orchestration and cluster management.
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems such as Buildkite or GitHub Actions.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS.
• Experience leveraging AI to accelerate code generation and debugging of infrastructure.
• Prior experience in platform engineering or developer productivity teams.
• Hands-on experience scaling distributed data stores like MySQL or Aurora.
