DevOps Developer (AWS/TypeScript): Building an internal platform to power scalable delivery across a massive Nx monorepo with an accent on CI/CD automation and infrastructure-as-code. Focus on optimizing GitHub Actions pipelines, scaling monorepo task orchestration, and implementing GitOps patterns using Flux and Kubernetes.

Location: Hybrid (Toronto, ON) - Must work 3 days a week in the Toronto office

Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Design and evolve high-signal GitHub Actions pipelines for build, test, release, and deployment workflows across multi-language projects.
• Drive Nx monorepo scalability through task orchestration, cache strategy, and affected project workflows.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK, Helm, and GitOps patterns via Flux.
• Support Kubernetes-based workloads and deployment architecture across multiple environments.
• Build internal devkit tooling and generators to standardize platform patterns and reduce repetitive engineering work.
• Improve platform security and reliability through observability, policy automation, and incident-ready runbooks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or software engineering.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency for platform tooling and CI/CD automation.
• Production experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK is a strong plus).
• Deep expertise in designing GitHub Actions pipelines and managing Nx monorepos.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and GitOps delivery models (Flux).
• Solid Linux and Docker debugging skills in cloud-native environments.
