Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, Ontario

Salary: $115,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-reliability CI/CD pipelines for large-scale, cloud-native microservices.
• Develop and optimize developer environments, including local, ephemeral, and cloud-based setups.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm to manage AWS resources and Kubernetes workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize deployment, testing, and release workflows.
• Improve platform observability, security, and reliability across the entire SDLC.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration using Docker and Helm.
• Proven expertise with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go or Python.
• Experience working within AWS or other major cloud platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs) or self-service tooling.
• Familiarity with secrets management tools like HashiCorp Vault.
• Experience improving developer experience (DevX) at scale.
• Background working in highly regulated or security-conscious environments.
