What you will do

• Design and build internal tooling and automation to improve engineering speed and safety.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce build, test, and deployment times.
• Enhance test infrastructure through parallelization, smart selection, and flaky-test detection.
• Develop tools to support concurrent AI agent execution and provide necessary context.
• Instrument engineering metrics to identify and remove friction points across the organization.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Experience building and operating developer-facing tooling, CI/CD systems, or internal platforms.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a track record of maintaining production systems.
• Proficiency in Go or a strong willingness to ramp up quickly.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

Nice to have

• Experience with build systems like Bazel or Concourse.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Security-minded instincts regarding supply chain and deployment paths.
