Location: Onsite in Washington, DC. Active Secret clearance is required.

Salary: $60,000 - $180,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant cloud architectures with a primary focus on OCI, supporting AWS and Azure.
• Lead migrations of workloads from on-premises systems and other cloud providers to OCI.
• Implement security best practices (IAM, encryption, zero trust) aligned with FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA standards.
• Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across multi-cloud environments.
• Define governance models, landing zones, and cloud operating frameworks for public sector clients.
• Optimize cloud performance and costs (FinOps) while providing technical leadership for delivery and pre-sales efforts.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with OCI (preferred) or strong proficiency in AWS/Azure.
• Experience designing solutions specifically for Federal, State, or Local Government environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and security compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Linux.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud certifications (OCI Architect Associate/Professional).
• Certifications in AWS or Azure (Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Autonomous Database.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms (OKE, EKS, AKS).
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
