What you will do

• Lead architecture and design of ISR-focused aerial unmanned systems based on customer requirements and operational scenarios.
• Define system-level solutions aligning with military standards like NATO and BAAINBw.
• Collaborate with solution management, product, software, and development teams for technical coherence.
• Interface with defense customers, government bodies, and integration partners.
• Produce system models, architecture views, and documentation using SPARX EA.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks and support certification processes; mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Business fluency in English and German required
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain security clearance under national laws
• Strong background in systems design and architecture, ideally defense/aerospace
• Proven experience as Solution Architect or System Architect
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks/tools like SPARX EA and modeling standards
• University degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science

Nice to have

• Experience with NATO Architecture Framework (NAFv4) and German defense methodologies (ADMBw)
