Founding UI/UX Designer (AI)

Location: London, hybrid, mostly office-based; relocation support available

hirify.global is a Helsinki-based game company creating mobile games intended to be played and remembered for years.

What you will do

• Own the UX structure for the entire game experience.
• Design and implement UI screens, assets, animations, and interactions.
• Translate game design requirements into intuitive and visually distinctive UI solutions.
• Help pioneer modern design workflows and optimize assets for performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, game designers, and artists.
• Identify and manage external partners when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping UI/UX design for apps or games.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UI/UX work on game projects, including UI and UX flows.
• Strong UI and UX design skills with 2D art experience in UI elements, illustrations, and animations.
• Proficient understanding of graphic design and typography.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, game designers, and artists.
• Self-starter approach to using AI in day-to-day design work.

Nice to have

• Active experimentation with advanced AI tools.
• Interest in or experience with trading card games.
