Senior Analytics Engineer (AI/LLM)

Location: Hybrid, Minato City, Tokyo, Japan; office in Roppongi

What you will do

• Continuously improve company-wide data products, including Socrates, Basic Tables, the semantic layer, and dashboards.
• Build AI/LLM-powered automation for the complete data modeling lifecycle, from identifying optimization opportunities through design and implementation.
• Define and implement a semantic layer as a reliable Single Source of Truth for people and AI.
• Develop a business metadata foundation that turns department-specific knowledge into shared company-wide assets.
• Collaborate with functions such as HR and Finance to transform operational data into reusable data products.

Requirements

• Experience collaborating with data stakeholders and leading initiatives to solve business challenges.
• Strong interest in or hands-on experience improving data platforms and operational efficiency with AI/LLM.
• Experience designing, building, and managing SQL-based data marts in a data warehouse such as BigQuery.
• Experience designing and implementing data governance and semantic layers with BI tools such as Looker.
• Japanese proficiency at B2 level is required.
• English proficiency at B2 level.

• Ability to keep up with fast-changing technology trends, especially AI/LLM, and apply them effectively.
• Project management experience involving stakeholder requirements, prioritization, and scope definition.
