Senior Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions using hirify.global Data Fusion.
• Build and manage integrations, data extractions, data models, and analyses with data connectors, SQL, Python, Java, and REST APIs.
• Create custom data models for data discovery, mapping, and cleansing.
• Collaborate with data scientists, project managers, solution architects, Engineering, and Product Management on customer project deliveries and product priorities.
• Conduct code reviews and apply engineering best practices for maintainable production code.
• Support customers and partners and contribute to hirify.global’s official tools and SDKs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar field; relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing, data-intensive role.
• Experience delivering production-grade data pipelines with Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed computing, Kubernetes, and managed cloud services such as GCP or Azure.
• DevOps mindset with experience in Git, CI/CD, and deployment environments.
• Ability to independently investigate and solve problems and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data sources in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries.
• Experience sharing knowledge and supporting collaborative problem-solving.
