What you will do

• Create 3D CAD for LV and HV Harnesses using CATIA V6, collaborating with Electrical, Chassis, and Powertrain teams.
• Design and package EDS and wire harnesses in accordance with electrical modelling standards.
• Oversee the release of parts and assembly structures into the bill of materials (BOM) ensuring accuracy.
• Support virtual build events, packaging activities, and customer compatibility reviews to meet weight and cost targets.
• Lead prototype builds and provide engineering support for vehicle commissioning, fault finding, and diagnosis.
• Manage project-level engineering change control and maintain documentation according to client standards.

Requirements

• Degree in an electrical engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an automotive background.
• Proven experience designing and draughting HV, 48V, 12V, and communications harnesses.
• Expertise in Catia V5, Catia V6, and Teamcenter.
• Deep knowledge of electrical principles, materials selection, and manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with HV batteries, contactors, fuses, and PDU's.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrical system Capital software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
