What you will do

• Lead and expand the Professional Risks team, specifically focusing on construction and regulated sectors.
• Manage a broad range of insured and uninsured matters, from small claims to multi-million-pound disputes.
• Provide strategic leadership and influence the direction of the specialist practice.
• Act as a case lead, supervisor, and mentor for other lawyers.
• Drive business development and manage relationships with insurers and brokers.
• Contribute to the company's advice line and hub content.

Requirements

• Significant experience defending liability claims, particularly within the construction or built environment context.
• Strong expertise in policy coverage advice.
• Proven ability to build relationships with insurers, brokers, and internal partners.
• Experience supervising and developing other lawyers.
• Technical excellence combined with commercial, pragmatic judgement.
• Confidence in contributing to sustainable business growth.
