Smart Manufacturing Consultant (IT/OT): Designing and driving the delivery of edge-to-cloud industrial data and application architectures across global manufacturing sites with an accent on ISA-95 interoperability and robust cybersecurity. What you will do

• Act as the technical expert for Smart Factory and Edge architectures in multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Define and validate edge-to-cloud data flow requirements, including payload schemas, naming conventions, and data quality rules.
• Implement industrial connectivity patterns using OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, and REST for integration with OT sources.
• Drive architecture decisions for ingestion, storage, and analytics using Azure, AWS, and Snowflake.
• Coordinate with site IT/networking to ensure secure connectivity, firewall rules, and alignment with Zero Trust principles.
• Own the go-live checklist, drive integration testing, and ensure operational handover readiness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in industrial IT/OT, smart factory, or manufacturing digitalization with architect-level ownership.
• Proven hands-on delivery experience implementing edge-to-cloud integration in real factory environments.
• Deep understanding of ISA-95, OT network segmentation, and core OT systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS, historian, MES).
• Cloud architecture experience on Azure and/or AWS, with familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Solid fundamentals in networking (firewalls, VLANs, routing) and identity and access management (Azure AD/AWS IAM).
• English: Excellent communication skills to lead technical conversations with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IEC 62443, OT security frameworks, and industrial zero trust patterns.
• Experience with Kubernetes at edge/cloud (AKS/EKS), IaC (Terraform/Bicep), and CI/CD.
• Experience with industrial historians and time-series stacks like AVEVA/PI.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and regulated environments.
• Experience building or operationalizing Digital Twin solutions.
