What you will do

• Develop and maintain multiple interconnected backend applications based on Spring Boot
• Design and implement scalable solutions within distributed systems architecture
• Work with event-driven (Kafka) and REST-based communication
• Build and containerize applications (Docker) for deployment in Kubernetes
• Collaborate on deployment processes using Argo CD
• Handle complex business domain logic and contribute to system design decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development
• Strong experience with Java (latest versions) and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven systems (e.g. Kafka), and REST APIs
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes
• Good command of English (min. B2)
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Camunda
• Experience with GitOps and deployment tools (e.g. Argo CD)
• Experience with Avro or similar data serialization formats
• Openness to occasional short business trips
• Experience applying GenAI in SDLC with structured workflows
• Interest in emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows)
