Location: Remote with preference for candidate to sit on the East Coast

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Serve as engineering decision-maker for subsurface utility map creation, aligning with project and product goals.
• Represent in client meetings to explain and defend mapping outputs and engineering considerations.
• Develop expertise in hirify.global tech stack to inform decisions and trade-offs.
• Own quality of final deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and standards adherence.
• Analyze and design utility systems, create conceptual plans, and propose optimized solutions.
• Conduct QA/QC across project phases and collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI-driven technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Must possess a Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• 7-10 years of experience in SUE on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong familiarity with utility engineering standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in Autodesk and/or Bentley Systems, GIS, CAD formats, and engineering deliverables.
• Strong analytical thinking, engineering judgment, QA/QC experience, and client communication skills.
