Platform Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Platform Engineer (Kubernetes/Azure): Building and maintaining the tools, processes, and environments that enable efficient software delivery with an accent on automating workflows, containerization, and hypervisor infrastructure. Focus on implementing CI/CD pipelines, scaling orchestration solutions, and ensuring system reliability and security across on-premise and cloud environments.

Location: Hybrid in Aachen, Germany (2 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
• Operate and optimize hypervisor infrastructure at scale.
• Architect and manage scalable containerization and orchestration solutions using Kubernetes.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) improvements to optimize workflows.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and reproducible environments.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering skill development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT infrastructure.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of scripting, version control, and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience with optimizing and scaling CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to lead complex projects and influence strategic decision-making.
