What you will do

• Lead the multi-year roadmap and long-term architecture for the UDS client stack.
• Design and operate high-performance data access layers handling indexing, replication, and global consistency models.
• Conduct deep-dive design reviews and establish organization-wide best practices for fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Create a unified interface to simplify how product engineers interact with complex data systems.
• Partner with global UDS and Data Infrastructure teams to align architecture and drive adoption.

Requirements

• 9+ years of industry experience with a proven track record at a Senior or Staff level.
• Deep expertise in large-scale distributed systems, including storage internals and networking.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence architectural decisions across multiple teams.
• Strong platform mindset focused on developer experience and system reliability at scale.
• Exceptional ability to articulate complex infrastructure challenges to technical partners.
• Location: Must be based in Brazil
