Senior Data Architect (Data & AI)

Location: Brazil; remote home-office position

What you will do

• Define and communicate the long-term data architecture vision in alignment with business strategy.
• Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and standards for data architecture implementation.
• Establish data management, governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into accessible language.
• Identify complex technical challenges, design effective solutions, and provide advanced guidance to data development and architecture teams.
• Mentor team members, support strategy execution, and represent data architecture in technical and strategic forums.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and dbt data transformation.
• Experience with data modeling, ELT design, and performance tuning.
• Advanced English proficiency in speaking and writing is required for direct work with international stakeholders.
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding technical teams through change.

Nice to have

• Snowflake certification.
• Experience with data governance and security.
