Senior Cloud Architect (AWS)

Location: Brazil; 100% remote, with current legal authorization to work in Brazil required

What you will do

• Lead client engagements, discovery, solution architecture, and cross-functional implementation teams.
• Design and deliver scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS architectures.
• Write Infrastructure as Code across multiple frameworks and lead re-platforming and refactoring initiatives.
• Build observability solutions for application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, logging, and tracing using AWS-native and partner tools.
• Establish metrics, logs, runbooks, and automation with 24x7 response, CloudOps, DevOps, and security teams.
• Coach team members, conduct code reviews, contribute to internal and open-source development, and engage clients through presentations and technical education.

Requirements

• 6 years of general IT experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field, or 8+ years of general IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services and 4 years architecting and building scalable, automated infrastructure.
• 2+ years of code-defined infrastructure experience and 2+ years of Continuous Integration and Delivery experience.
• 4 years of experience with cloud-native patterns and services such as AWS Lambda.
• Experience with Agile project management or other project management methodologies.
• Current legal authorization to work in Brazil is required; visa and work permit sponsorship are not available.

Nice to have

• AWS Associate or Professional certification.
• Programming experience with Python, Node, TypeScript, Go, Java, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments and consultative, client-facing consulting.
• Knowledge of AWS and application observability concepts, with strong documentation and presentation skills.
