What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML and RAG-based solutions.
• Build custom RAG systems and robust data pipelines for processing unstructured content.
• Optimize semantic search and retrieval performance using embeddings and vector databases (pgVector).
• Evaluate model performance using quality metrics and continuously improve system accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy agentic RAG solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for AI services using FastAPI.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas) and solid SQL skills.
• Experience with FastAPI, LangChain, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Deep knowledge of NLP, text embeddings, semantic search, and model evaluation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with pgVector and vector databases.
• Proficiency with Docker, OpenShift, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience working with agentic AI systems or autonomous workflows.
• Familiarity with scalable architecture for AI systems in production.
