What you will do

• Serve as the functional manager for a multidisciplinary AI team, including engineers and architects.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and prioritize initiatives based on impact.
• Lead the end-to-end AI lifecycle including problem framing, design, development, and deployment.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, explainable, and follow responsible AI principles and MLOps practices.
• Define KPIs to measure and communicate the business value and ROI of AI projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, IT, security, and legal teams for effective delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, AI, ML, or related field with 10+ years of experience (or HS diploma with 16+ years).
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML roles with a proven track record of delivering production solutions.
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing technical teams.
• Professional proficiency in English required for collaboration across global teams.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico or Brazil without sponsorship.
• Strong foundation in deep learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in artificial intelligence or machine learning.
• Experience launching multiple AI products in regulated industries, specifically healthcare or medtech.
• Familiarity with cloud-native AI/ML platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary AI R&D teams at the forefront of the field.
