Manager, Revenue Assurance

TL;DR

Manager, Revenue Assurance: Manage processes and internal controls for identification, documentation, and application of accounting standards governing license revenue under ASC 606 and US GAAP. Location: Hybrid schedule requiring minimum 4 days per week in office (US locations)

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 (bonus eligible)

What you will do

• Review Global TV Distribution contracts to identify, document, and communicate revenue recognition accounting considerations per ASC 606
• Validate contract setups in rights management and revenue systems for US GAAP compliance
• Track licensee royalty statements and coordinate timely processing with finance
• Prepare month-end/quarter-end revenue accruals/deferrals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support financial reporting disclosures, participant audits, and ad hoc projects
• Identify process improvements, control enhancements, and documentation standardization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 5+ years relevant accounting/finance experience
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot tables, macros)
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization, communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience analyzing complex contracts and technical accounting research
• Understanding of internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• SAP/BW experience
• Big 4 or entertainment industry experience
