What you will do

• Lead requirements discovery, analysis, and documentation for complex, data-intensive initiatives.
• Translate business needs into actionable user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using SQL to identify trends, anomalies, and resolve defects.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity across source systems, APIs, and downstream reporting.
• Partner with QA to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and execute data validation cases.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts on analytical techniques and data interpretation best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (Virtual Minnesota)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting data-driven systems.
• Advanced proficiency in writing, optimizing, and interpreting complex SQL queries.
• Proven experience in requirements definition, system design, and delivery support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for translating complex data into business insights.
