What you will do

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and boring mills.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and precision instruments like micrometers and Vernier calipers.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machine tools for precision machining operations.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering data to determine fabrication methods and sequences.
• Inspect completed parts to detect defects and ensure strict conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating milling machines, drill presses, and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Pell City, AL, US.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
