What you will do

• Set up and operate precision conventional grinding machines and CNC step grinders.
• Select appropriate speeds, feeds, tooling, and sequences for metal removal operations.
• Load programs and fixtures into machines using operator control panels and setup sheets.
• Generate equipment sequences utilizing conversational programming features.
• Inspect and gage work-in-process using micrometers, calipers, and profilometers.
• Maintain equipment by dressing wheels and monitoring oil and coolant levels daily.

Requirements

• Experience operating centerless, ID, and surface grinders.
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, and verniers.
• Knowledge of working with carbon steel, alloy steel, and non-ferrous materials.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Lancaster, OH, US.
