TL;DR

What you will do

  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed 2D electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings using PTC CREO Schematics.
  • Create and manage symbol libraries and parametric data to ensure consistency and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Define and develop system-level electrical architecture, including power distribution, communication networks, and hardware interfaces.
  • Generate comprehensive documentation packages, including BOMs, connector tables, and wire/cable specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, embedded software, and manufacturing teams to resolve integration issues.
  • Support FMEA, DFMEA, and system reliability assessments to ensure product performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent technical degree.
  • Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and systematic problem-solving approaches.
  • Must be based in or have legal authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship provided).
  • Ability to work onsite at the Laval, QC office.

Nice to have

  • Previous engineering experience in automotive, heavy equipment, aerospace, or industrial machinery.
  • Experience with PTC CREO Schematics or similar ECAD tools.
  • Understanding of CAN, Ethernet, or other communication protocols.
  • Demonstrated experience defining electrical system architecture for complex electromechanical products.
