What you will do

• Apply EH steering systems to machine platforms to meet performance, safety, and operability requirements.
• Calibrate and tune steering response, stability, and operator feel.
• Integrate steering systems with hydraulic components, sensors, actuators, and electronic controllers.
• Participate in requirements definition, DFMEA activities, and design reviews.
• Conduct machine-level testing and data analysis in both lab and field environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support new product introduction (NPI).

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
• Understanding of closed-loop control systems and tuning concepts.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic components such as valves, actuators, and sensors.
• Familiarity with CAN/J1939 or similar vehicle communication protocols.
• Must be based in the US or eligible for domestic relocation.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with EH steering or steer-by-wire systems.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink or similar controls tools.
• Experience working with off-highway or heavy equipment.
• Exposure to functional safety concepts (ISO 13849, ISO 25119, etc.).
