Program Manager (Healthcare IT)

Location: Fully remote across the United States

Salary: $100,730–$120,500

What you will do

• Lead program management for EDI initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and governance.
• Manage lifecycle of healthcare EDI transactions like 837, 835, 834, ensuring accuracy and continuity.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, analysts, and vendors.
• Oversee governance, status reporting, risk/issue management, and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data privacy, security standards, and contracts.
• Track performance metrics, develop documentation, and support federal planning/budgeting.

Requirements

• 10+ years managing Health IT programs/projects, preferably federal/healthcare
• Strong experience with EDI systems and healthcare data exchange standards
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, app development, info security in regulated environments
• Proven client-facing relationship management and executive/technical communication
• Experience leading teams with government stakeholders and vendors
• Knowledge of project/financial management, Agile methodologies, federal compliance
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Management or related
