What you will do
- Cover trending business news and live events across Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Manage day-to-day content calendars and pitch visual stories aligned with the brand voice.
- Create charts and graphics using templates and collaborate with the design team for high-level formats.
- Publish video content on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Analyze success through account growth and engagement metrics to optimize social-first content.
- Oversee community engagement by replying to audience comments and direct messages.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in New York, NY for hybrid work.
- 2+ years of experience in social media or digital journalism.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and editorial strategies.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to condense complex business topics into engaging copy.
- Track record of managing accounts for media outlets on Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Passion for internet culture, memes, and tech/finance news.
Nice to have
- Experience with analytics and management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, or Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and/or Figma.
