What you will do

• Cover trending business news and live events across Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Manage day-to-day content calendars and pitch visual stories aligned with the brand voice.
• Create charts and graphics using templates and collaborate with the design team for high-level formats.
• Publish video content on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Analyze success through account growth and engagement metrics to optimize social-first content.
• Oversee community engagement by replying to audience comments and direct messages.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York, NY for hybrid work.
• 2+ years of experience in social media or digital journalism.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and editorial strategies.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to condense complex business topics into engaging copy.
• Track record of managing accounts for media outlets on Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Passion for internet culture, memes, and tech/finance news.
