Supervisor, Media Operations

TL;DR

Supervisor, Media Operations (Media QC): Provide hands-on leadership for QC team handling inbound and outbound digital delivery of hirify.global content with an accent on real-time monitoring, spot checks, metadata capture, and issue escalation. Focus on managing 24/7 operations at scale, implementing SOPs, troubleshooting outages, and optimizing workflows for high reliability under tight turnarounds.

Location: Hybrid schedule requiring office presence minimum 4 days per week in Centennial, CO or Stamford, CT. Must have unrestricted US employment authorization.

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 (bonus eligible)

What you will do

• Supervise and lead Media Operations technicians to meet reliability and performance goals.
• Manage hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance of direct reports.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations including troubleshooting, escalation, and prioritization.
• Lead projects for new workflows, tools, and technology implementation.
• Maintain SOPs, training matrices, and conduct root cause analysis during outages.
• Identify efficiency improvements and provide leadership coverage as needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in broadcast, post-production, or digital media operations
• 2+ years leadership experience in fast-paced environment
• BA/BS in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Must be willing to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays on short notice for 24/7 operations
• Must adhere to onsite strategy

Nice to have

• Knowledge of digital broadcast systems, standards, and media asset management
• Experience with digital file types (QuickTime, MXF, MPEG, MP4)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and multitasking skills
• Experience leading teams across multiple shifts
