Location: Remote (USA). Applicants located within 45 miles of the Westlake/Dallas, TX office must work on-site Tuesday through Thursday.

Salary: $114,000 - $150,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead the privacy engineering team and provide strategic technical direction for scalable privacy solutions.
• Translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable specifications and efficient automated workflows for DSAR fulfillment and data deletion.
• Own technical design and architecture reviews, including Threat Modeling and Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs), to ensure Privacy by Design.
• Evaluate and manage the implementation of PrivacyOps and Privacy Enhancing Technology (PET) tooling.
• Drive technical alignment on data handling policies and identify privacy risks associated with Generative and Agentic AI.
• Mentor and coach team members on privacy engineering best practices and advanced techniques.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specialized experience in data privacy engineering, software development, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expert-level understanding of privacy regulations and frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Proven ability to design end-to-end automation for complex privacy operations using tools like Snowflake and Transcend.
• Experience integrating PrivacyOps platforms with databases and data lakes.

Nice to have

• IAAP Data Privacy Certifications (e.g., CIPT, CDPSE).
