What you will do

• Analyze liability claim submissions for coverage and establish adequate case reserves.
• Strategize and drive early settlement opportunities for General Liability (BI & PD) claims.
• Manage local defense counsel and monitor litigation and suits.
• Draft and review coverage analyses and handle high-exposure claims.
• Participate in the Claims/Underwriting/Actuarial feedback loop to improve products.
• Maintain accurate file documentation in the claims management system.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and Bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in General Liability insurance or litigation.
• Experience in litigation, mediation, and monitoring outside counsel.
• Ability to analyze liability, potential damages, and set reserves independently.
• Strong communication skills to establish rapport with insureds and brokers.
• Ability to work hybrid (2 days/week) in specified US office locations.
