TL;DR
Client Information Coordinator (Healthcare Administration): Managing upfront intake and verification of patient information for assistive device funding with an accent on insurance eligibility and documentation. Focus on coordinating communication between stakeholders and securing accurate medical data to facilitate the reimbursement process.
Location: Remote (US). Must live in the Pacific, Mountain, or Hawaii time zones. Ability to travel to the Pittsburgh office approximately 4 times per year is required.

What you will do
- Perform electronic data entry of information received via fax, email, and e-Funding platforms according to standard procedures.
- Identify, label, and store funding documents and properly code clients' medical and speech diagnoses.
- Verify healthcare coverage by contacting insurance companies to determine eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization requirements.
- Prepare and upload state-specific prior authorization forms and CMNs to the electronic database.
- Initiate communication with customers to verify basic information and explain the next steps of the funding process.
- Collaborate with Funding Consultants and other stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Two years of experience working with insurance in a medical setting.
- Must reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Hawaii time zones.
- Ability to travel to the Pittsburgh office about 4 times per year.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook), PDF management, and basic computer troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and medical insurance regulations.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and coordination of benefits.
- Experience using myCGS, Navinet, Noridian, and Availity websites.
- Experience navigating professional phone queues.
