TL;DR
Helpdesk Technician (System Engineering): Providing technical support and hardware/software maintenance for a world-class game studio with an accent on PC deployment, network troubleshooting, and inventory management. Location: Full-time Onsite in Frisco, Texas, United States (5 days a week)

What you will do
- Provide technical support and assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Develop and maintain systems for rapid PC deployment to employees.
- Manage high-end developer workstations and various gaming developer kits.
- Troubleshoot wired, wireless, and VPN connectivity issues.
- Implement software deployment systems to push applications and system patches efficiently.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory system for hardware tracking.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and interaction skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Windows OS and applications within a networked environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds of equipment.
- Must be able to work onsite in Frisco, Texas, 5 days a week.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Jira or other issue tracking systems, including reporting and metrics.
- Experience with Linux and Mac systems.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
