Senior AI Software Architect (Runtime)

Location: Hybrid work model: split time between on-site at assigned hirify.global sites (Primary: US, Oregon, Hillsboro; Additional: US, California, Santa Clara; US, Texas, Austin) and off-site

Salary: $195,200–361,200 USD (annual, varies by location and experience)

What you will do

• Define technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for neuromorphic runtime software stack with hands-on design and implementation.
• Develop and optimize firmware/runtime components for execution control, scheduling, data movement, memory management, and device interfaces.
• Build performance infrastructure including profiling, tracing, debugging, benchmarking, and regression frameworks.
• Integrate runtime into robotics/edge ecosystems for deployment and developer adoption.
• Collaborate with hardware, compiler, systems, application teams, customers, and partners to meet platform/workload requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, establish engineering practices, mentor engineers, and scale the team.

Requirements

• Hybrid work: must split time on-site at US hirify.global locations (Hillsboro OR primary)
• BSc/MSc/PhD in CS, EE/CE, Physics, Math or related.
• 5+ years developing firmware/runtime/performance/low-level systems software for AI/accelerators (CUDA, LLVM, oneAPI, SYCL, ONNX, IREE, OpenVINO, TVM).
• 5+ years leading software architecture for AI/runtime/accelerator systems.
• 8+ years production-grade C/C++/Python, systems/performance code, with benchmarking, testing, CI/CD.
• 5+ years AI/deep learning/optimization workloads (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow).

• Managing/mentoring engineers, leading cross-functional teams.
