What you will do

• Manage, host, and serve AI/ML models ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in production (MLOps).
• Integrate models into backend systems and create API endpoints for predictions using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices with optimal performance and seamless integration.
• Optimize database queries, schemas for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement security features including authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2).
• Troubleshoot production issues, write tests, monitor with tools like Datadog or Cloud Watch, and maintain documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent + minimum 8 years backend development experience building scalable systems.
• Python expertise with FastAPI/Flask for backend services and APIs.
• Microservices, event-driven systems, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB).
• AWS (database, API, serverless), Docker, ECS, Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD.
• API security (JWT, OAuth2, OpenID), performance tuning (caching, indexing).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills; proactive approach.

• Message brokers (Kafka, AWS SQS), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Observability (Cloud Watch, Datadog), serverless (AWS Lambda).
