Salary: Up to £65,000

What you will do

• Develop high-quality automated pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and publishing data.
• Implement security, privacy, and governance controls to protect audience data and ensure compliant use.
• Lead the design of core blueprints, standards, and platform capabilities, influencing technology choices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architecture, product, and data governance.
• Mentor and coach other engineers to support the growth and scaling of the team.
• Provide production support and contribute to shared operational responsibility and incident resolution.

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale data-centric initiatives.
• Proficiency in SQL, DBT, and Data Warehousing technologies, including pipeline orchestration.
• Strong engineering practices, including security by design, clean code, and CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge of database design, big data processing, and building scalable data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies and IaC, preferably AWS and Terraform.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot) and working with Scrum or Kanban.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
• Experience using Agentic AI tooling such as Codex or Claude Code.
• Familiarity with Snowflake DWH.
