TL;DR

Sr. Analyst, Consumer Insights (Media): Developing a deep understanding of media audiences and brand perceptions with an accent on quantitative analysis and primary research. Focus on administering portfolio-wide brand tracking, audience segmentation, and translating complex data into executive-friendly strategies.

Location: Hybrid: Minimum three days per week in the New York office

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Data Insights teams to design and execute primary research studies from inception to completion.
  • Manage and operate a complex, portfolio-wide brand tracking study in partnership with external vendors.
  • Design surveys and discussion guides, analyze results, and interpret consumer data to identify actionable insights.
  • Synthesize multiple datasets and secondary research to identify emerging brand and audience trends.
  • Create story-driven presentations for executive leadership to influence marketing, programming, and product strategies.
  • Handle team project management and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in primary research, preferably within media or entertainment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, psychology, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and storytelling.
  • Experience using research tools such as Qualtrics, MRI, YouGov, or DisplayR.
  • Must be based in New York to fulfill the hybrid work arrangement (3+ days/week in office).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with SPSS, R, or Python for statistical analysis.
  • Direct experience supporting ongoing brand tracking programs.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted research methodologies and resources.
