What you will do

• Lead delivery of integrated co-simulation packages for virtual thermal systems design, development, and validation.
• Resolve program issues by coordinating with co-simulation partners across Vehicle Design, Development & Validation (VDDV) and VMEC teams.
• Advocate for the adoption of virtual methods in vehicle design and development.
• Act as the primary point of contact for thermal systems co-simulation users to resolve usage concerns.
• Define strategic opportunities for process and method innovation.
• Align simulation packages with software releases and calibration milestones.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with 1D and 3D thermal systems plant models and virtual controllers.
• Proficiency with CAE tools like GT Power, AMESIM, Carsim, Carmarker, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Must be based in the US; no immigration sponsorship provided.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• MS in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• Experience with version control (Git) and simulation data management (Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with CFD tools such as STAR-CCM+, FLUENT, or SIMERICS.
• Hands-on automotive experience (restoring/modifying vehicles) or participation in teams like Formula SAE.
