TL;DR

Loan Officer Assistant (Mortgage): Assist loan officers in reviewing applications, managing documentation, and facilitating loan closings for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products with an accent on ensuring timely processing and positive customer experience. Focus on tracking outstanding items, delivering disclosures and appraisals, and coordinating with title companies and processors to prevent deficiencies and close loans efficiently.

Location: Seattle, WA office operating within Pacific Standard Time Zone working hours to support the West Coast region.

Salary: Hourly Rate $26.00 - $31.00 (eligible for per file bonus)

What you will do

  • Review mortgage applications, disclosures, and loan files to identify and resolve deficiencies.
  • Deliver rate disclosures, appraisals, and property valuations to borrowers and track receipts.
  • Manage loan pipeline for various products including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgages.
  • Track outstanding documents, follow up with customers, and facilitate timely closings with title companies.
  • Provide clerical support including phone work, scanning, emailing, and general assistance to loan officers and processors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of mortgage-related experience including customer contact.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
